Nhow, the high-end, design-forward brand of NH Hotels, has opened the doors to their most impressive property yet in Amsterdam. Announcing itself as a cosmopolitan social hub in the heart of Holland, this 650-roomed masterpiece features state-of-the-art architecture and exquisite interior design.

A distinctive landmark towering over the Dutch capital’s gabled houses, the new nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel sits at the center of the city’s Zuidas business district adjacent to the RAI convention center.

Designed by lauded Dutch architecture firm OMA, this 650-roomed property is now the largest hotel in the Benelux region. Standing at 91-meters high, the striking building is constructed of 3 stacked and shifted triangles facing in different directions, symbolizing the multicultural essence of Amsterdam.

The interiors are an homage to Amsterdam’s Golden Age as a global center of trade, and were designed in collaboration with Dutch firms  NEXT Architects and MVSA Architects. Universal cultural references are represented throughout the hotel, from India’s mandalas to Japan’s cherry blossoms and Mexico’s skulls, the nhow Amsterdam showcases country’s personalities from all corners of the globe. The room’s designs are inspired by the cardinal direction that each room faces from South, East and North to South West, South East and North West.

As a result, the hotel is filled a fresh interpretation of dazzling colors and prints, luscious fabrics, traditional accents and contemporary furnishings in the guestrooms and communal spaces alike. The guestrooms are divided into 4 categories with 6 separate designs, and spread across 23 floors with floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning views across the city.

The nhow Penthouse Suite is a sumptuous double-story affair with a 177 square meter floor plan spread across the 21st and 22nd levels. Boasting two generous living areas, a large bedroom, a kitchen, a dining area and a private 21 square meter conservatory, you may never want to leave this stylish suite.

The nhow Room ranges between 14 and 24 square meters, and is perfect for jet-setters looking for a tranquil space to relax. With extensive in-room entertainment and a lavish rain shower with bespoke toiletries, this is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day.

The 27.5 to 32 square meter nhow Premium Rooms are built to impress. With inviting interiors and a free-standing bath in some rooms, you’ll feel right at home here.

There is nothing junior about the 46 square meter nhow Junior Suites, with their walk-in jacuzzis, baths and separate rain showers. An office space and living room ensure comfort while working and relaxing, with a 65-inch TV providing access to first-rate audiovisual entertainment.

In addition to the guestrooms, the hotel’s facilities include a bar, an eclectic restaurant and stylish lounge areas on the first floor, while the breakfast cafe is located on the 17th floor with a panoramic view of Amsterdam’s skyline.

A destination fusing contemporary art, design, gastronomy and cultural expressions, the hotel is suited for both business and leisure travelers alike. With 9 stimulating meeting spaces outfitted with the latest technology and bathed in light and cascading city vistas, working at the hotel will be an effortless and pleasurable experience.
