Le Saint, the hotel of the French “savoir vivre”.

Located at the crossing between two charming streets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and a stone’s throw from its majestic church, the Saint Hotel has been a landmark in this emblematic Parisian district for almost three years.

An ambitious project

The owner Bertrand Plasmans took up a daring challenge and gathered three establishments in one. Stronger together! Indeed, this unique venue, which now combines the former hotels Lenox, Saint Thomas d’Aquin and Saint Vincent, reveals itself for our greatest enjoyment.

Warm hospitality

Upon our entrance in the hotel, we are welcomed as guests, as if the personnel were waiting for friends rather than customers. We are introduced to the wide array of offered services, as we are led into our room to acquaint ourselves with the location.

The hotel makes it a true point to make each guest comfortable. A variety of small attentions awaits us: home-made pastries, a small notebook, a candle, a pen, hand cream – all quality products for a warm welcome.

The 54 guest rooms are all unique and designed to convey a “home feeling” with an interior decoration meant to be stylish, sophisticated and cosy at the same time.

The room features tapestries, thick carpets, velvet coatings, comfortable armchairs, fresh flowers, heavy fabric curtains for a warm and elegant interior.

A custom-made experience

We enjoy a lighter moment at the spa, a sub-contracted service by Olivier Lecocq, who inspires and grants his expertise in the most prestigious Parisian palaces. Each treatment is unique and created according to the customer’s needs, expectations and desires. A moment is taken to discuss the special features that will make the uniqueness of the service. In our case, we are involved with full delight in a 60-min ritual: the masseuse takes her time, with undivided attention and care. The experience leaves us rested and relaxed.

The wellness centre also features a hammam, a sauna and a fitness room. Bicycles are at the guests’ disposal if desired.

Dinner at the Kult…

As the cocktail hour approaches, we indulge in a glass of rosy champagne of the Bollinger house, served with home-made cheese gougères.

The chef Stephan Bernard, former sous-chef of the Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx, plays with seasonal products and gives his guests the delight to rediscover them with delicacy and harmony. On this very autumn evening, we enjoy a beetroot-marinated salmon gravlax, fried scallops with parsnip and butternut, and will miss under no circumstances the house signature dessert: the KULT chocolate pie. Scrumptious! The nut bread from the Gérard Mulot bakery is exquisite, just as the Pouilly-Fumé served with our dinner.

Eat, move

How perfect: the hotel also provides sports coaches, ready to assist you with a “tailored” service.

The fitness room dedicated to this service is certainly small but equipped with all the necessary gear for a full session.

10.30 am, breakfast is over, and we decide to have it served in the room. We experience a room service with an impressive responsiveness: 10 minutes after our call, a basket of hot crusty rolls, soft-boiled eggs, a fresh fruit salad and warm teas are delivered at our door. The breakfast presentation is perfect and once again served with care.

Then it’s time to leave, but this time we’ve been pampered more than ever by this privileged moment in the heart of the French capital. The venue is an experience to offer as a gift, to yourself or to others, and can be recommended in full confidence.

Thank you.
