Style-loving gourmands can enjoy afternoon tea, Champagne, bespoke cocktails and guided tours of Lagerfeld: The Chanel Shows once again in the City of London.

As Coco Chanel herself once stated, ‘Everyday is a fashion show and the world is your runway.’ Ideal for a designer bite this autumn, Rotunda Bar and Lounge at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square have just relaunched The Runway Afternoon Tea.

Inspired by renowned British photographer Simon Procter’s Lagerfeld: The Chanel Shows exhibition, which lines the walls of the Hotel’s art-deco Rotunda, the indulgent spread is perfect for an immersive and exciting experience – especially now that post-10pm dishes are off the menu in London.

Widely regarded as one of the most outstanding photographers of his generation, Procter’s exhibition features images captured backstage at Lagerfeld’s shows, providing a glimpse through his lens into the inner world of Chanel and the celebrated designer.

Through his selection of impeccable and imaginative patisserie, Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Goujon aims to bring the exhibition to life on the plate – mirroring the photography of the most influential shows and creations at Chanel.

Adding to the experience, the hotel is also offering additional private guided tours of the exhibition as part of a newly formed Runway Experience to learn more about the craft behind the collections.

With prices starting from £40 per fashionista, the must-book activity includes a table in Rotunda Bar and Lounge for up to six guests  and bubbly in the form of Ruinart or Dom Pérignon champagne.

Join the Hotel’s Gallery Manager as he leads the tour and shares exclusive insight into the world of Lagerfeld’s infamous runway shows. On weekends, guests enjoying the Runway Experience can also book The Runway Afternoon Tea for a fully immersive experience.

If you’re more partial to a cocktail than Champagne, Director of Mixology Harry Nikolaou has created the Harlequin cocktail. The epitome of a stylish sip, enjoy a gin-based cocktail with rhubarb, almond blossom, clarified grapefruit and Mancino Sakura. Topped off with whitened lemon and Diet Coke jelly, the Harlequin marks a playful nod to the famous designer’s favourite tipple.
